Tip No. 4 – Purify Air At Home

If you have followed my tips so far, you would have filtered water to drink, organic foods to eat and giving up on processed foods!  Congratulations!!!
You have come this far… it is not easy.

Today, I am going to talk about the air that we breathe in every day and why it is beneficial for us to purify air at home.

Unless we are living in the high mountains, we are exposed to industrial pollution, fibers, fungal spores and fragments, dust, allergens, bacteria, vehicle exhaust, viruses, emissions from smoking, cooking and any particles that our naked eyes cannot see. These pollutants can be detrimental to our health as we are inhaling these pollutants every day, The air inside our home is no better than outside. According to Environmental Protection Agency (EPA): “In the last several years, a growing body of scientific evidence has indicated that the air within homes and other buildings can be more seriously polluted than the outdoor air in even the largest and most industrialized cities. Other research indicates that people spend approximately 90 percent of their time indoors. Thus, for many people, the risks to health may be greater due to exposure to air pollution indoors than outdoors.”

Since we do not wish to drink contaminated water and eat foods contaminated with chemicals and toxins, neither do we wish to inhale polluted air. We cannot do much about the air outside our homes. However, we can certainly do something about the air that we breathe in our homes. Yes, we can get air purifiers to purify air at home.

How To Purify Air At Home

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has a guideline on the use of air purifiers and air filters to reduce or remove the pollutants in the air at home. Portable air purifiers are designed to filter the air in a single room or area. Central furnace or HVAC filters are designed to filter air throughout a home. Portable air purifiers and HVAC filters can reduce indoor air pollution.

Choosing the right air purifier among the hundreds of air purifiers out there is no easy task, But as you read the specs of each air purifier, you get more knowledgeable each time. I personally prefer the IQAir [HealthPro Plus Air Purifier] Medical-Grade Air [HyperHEPA Filter] which can filter ultrafine particles (down to 0.003 microns!!!). The company has many reviews on their products and has won many awards. You can find out the price and details from amazon here.

Wish you luck as you search for the right air purifier for your lovely homes so that you and your love ones can breathe better and healthier.

I really appreciate your post as someone who is coming off of a severe impaction related to Crohns. The method of healing requires killing off all bacteria in the gut and then repopulate with probiotics for healing. This leaves the body quite vulnerable to external toxins. Our house is quite old so it is a breeding ground for things like mold. Purifying the air in the house has aided in the healing process.
